This is 40000ft height view of nagarjuna sagar dam in Andhra Pradesh, India (150Kms from hyderabad). This is the worlds largest mansory dam and the largest dam's in asia.



Some Facts about this place:

Nagarjuna sagar is named after Acharya Nagarjuna, founder-father of mahayana buddhism.

The lake what you see is artificial, 3rd largest man made lake in the world

This place has 1700 year old ancient history, that time it was a buddhist university.

It was during the building of the dam that the ruins of an ancient Buddhist civilization were excavated here. Some of the relics unearthed have been carefully preserved on a picturesque island called Nagarjuna Konda.

You can see the circle like island is Nagarjuna Konda, it is where museum is.(may be the only island museums in the world)
